冬から春にかけて沖縄の海に訪れるザトウクジラの中に、識別番号「R-8」通称「Z」と呼ばれるオスの個体がいます。沖縄とフィリピンの研究機関は、彼とその系群がフィリピンの海でも確認される同じグループであることを明らかにしました。系群ごとの行動範囲を把握することは、ザトウクジラの保全を進める上でとても重要です。今後さらに研究が進むことを陰ながら応援しています。
デザインはフロントにオニフジツボを描きました。このフジツボはザトウクジラを主な宿主とする直径6cmに成長するフジツボです。バックにはアルファベットの「Z」に似た模様が特徴の個体番号「R-8」の尾びれを描きました。

・オーガニックコットンの素材の特性上、お洗濯による縮みが一般のコットン製品より生じます。（上下左右におよそ1cmほど縮みます。）
・洗濯機を使用する場合には、形崩れを防ぐため、洗濯ネットのご使用をおすすめします。
・素材の特性上、着用や取扱いにより製品が斜行することがあります。形を整えてから軽くアイロンを掛けていただくとある程度回復します。
