Since ancient times in Okinawa, we have been fishing and traveling far away to foreign countries on the wooden boat "Sabani".
This book is a photo essay that records the dreams of the old Ryukyu people and the excitement of traveling to the southern islands as if they were on the boat of the excellent traditional method.
We edited the pictures of the Savani trip from Yonaguni Island in the west to Hateruma in the south to Kyushu and Nichinan, where the photographer Yoshiaki Murayama participated in the cruise as a full-scale crew so that the reader could have a simulated experience of the voyage.
